Hello everyone! I was born and raised in Tokyo. I’ve been interested in foreign languages since I was very young — I even spoke Indonesian when I was in elementary school! I’ve forgotten most of it now, but I still remember how fascinated I was by different writing systems and sounds.
I love seeing architecture in Japan and around the world, learning about different cultures and customs, and meeting new people, so travel is an important part of my life. Discovering foods, traditions, and local specialties that are different from the Tokyo I grew up in always brings color and excitement into my daily life. I would love to hear all about your country and about you as well.
I’m also a big fan of anime, manga, Taiwanese dramas, American TV series, British films, and musical theater. If you’d like to talk about any of these, please feel free to contact me!

Beginner grammar
In my lessons, I ask about the situations in which you want to use Japanese, and we practice conversations for those real-life scenes. Once you learn the basic patterns, you can apply them in many different situations — for example, at hotels, cafés, restaurants, or train stations when you want to ask questions or place an order.
We mainly use a standard textbook, but if you have a book, anime, or drama you’d like to use, let me know. Acting out roles and speaking like a character is also a great way to practice, so let’s speak lots of Japanese together! Repeating things again and again will help you become confident, so please don’t worry.
