I try to understand the thoughts and feelings behind the words, and help express them in natural and appropriate Japanese. First, I encourage students to write freely, and then I provide thoughtful feedback afterward. In addition to correcting grammar and vocabulary mistakes, I also give concrete advice on how to make writing sound more natural and communicate more effectively. I explain clearly why certain expressions work better, so that students can gradually develop the ability to write confidently on their own.
