We use communication-focused textbooks as a foundation, but each teacher builds on them with additional activities and approaches that play to their own strengths. This gives your learning structure while bringing Japanese closer to real life, with lessons adapted to the level and dynamic of each group.
After hearing students say, “I missed just chatting in Japanese with other people!”, we decided to limit our conversation courses to just four students. This gives everyone plenty of time to speak, ask questions, interact with classmates, and even enjoy some unstructured time to simply chat in Japanese.
Every class is led by a qualified, experienced Japanese teacher who knows how to make group learning both effective and comfortable. In addition, all lesson plans are supervised by Saya, our founder, and Tomoko Sensei, our senior teaching advisor, ensuring consistent quality across all SAYAS classes.
