My lessons are conducted in a relaxed, casual atmosphere, focusing on grammar and free conversation.
I flexibly choose learning materials based on each student’s goals and level.
During lessons, I make it a point to introduce related topics or cultural insights that come up naturally, helping students connect with real, everyday Japanese beyond just textbooks.

About Me
I grew up in an environment where overseas cultures were always close to me. I completed the Japanese Language Teacher Training Program at university.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking, and baking. I also work as a Pilates instructor and a designer. I would love to help you learn Japanese, starting from casual conversations! My schedule is relatively flexible, and since I am based in North America, I am available in the MST timezone. I am also fluent in English, so I can provide full support and explanations in English whenever needed.
Japanese can be complex with Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, dialects, and various levels of politeness—having learned a foreign language myself, I truly understand the challenges! However, I am committed to supporting you until you reach a level you are completely happy with.
What My Student Say
I have been taking Japanese lessons with Tsuki for several years. All this time, she has kept me motivated. I really appreciate her patience, encouragement, and rigorous teaching style. She is always well prepared for class and knows how to convey her knowledge effectively. I am a foreign language teacher myself, so I know how to recognize a competent teacher. It's a pleasure to attend her classes.
